Its repairs line, 01895 556600, treats a tenant locked out as an emergency. Say "emergency" at the menu.

We always ask for proof that you live there. A bill, council tax letter or tenancy agreement saved on your phone is worth finding while you wait.

Yes. All Services 4U sends locksmiths across West Drayton, Yiewsley, Harmondsworth, Sipson and Longford, day and night. Who to ring first depends on whose home it is:
Ring us with the address. The door is yours to decide on, and each option is priced before work.
Try your landlord or agent for a spare, then ring us. A new lock is theirs to agree.
Ring the council's repairs line first: 01895 556600, and say "emergency".
Tell us the property and the reason: lost keys, a tenant gone or a forced door.
Businesses ring the same number, 020 3627 0820.
We give you that on the call, once we know where the nearest locksmith is finishing their last job. Your full postcode and the street name help us place you quickly.
At night and at weekends labour is charged at our out-of-hours rate, and the phone is answered at 2am just as at 2pm.
Start with anyone who might hold a key; a spare costs nothing.
Only if someone is in danger. gov.uk says 999 is for when someone is in immediate danger or a crime is in progress. If a young child is alone inside, or someone is ill behind the door, treat it as a 999 call. For anything else the police number is 101. When nobody is at risk, the way in is a spare key or a locksmith.
You will need something that ties you to the address. While you wait, look through your email and phone photos for a tenancy agreement, a council tax letter or a utility bill, and tell us on the call what you have found.
Usually. Taking out a broken key is a job of its own and we price it before we start; our broken key extraction page shows how it is done. Where the lock allows it, our non-destructive entry service keeps the lock in place; if it has to be drilled or replaced, we stop and quote that first.
Calls are answered 24 hours a day. Our locksmiths travel from their last job, not a depot, so on the call we tell you when the nearest one can reach you.
Which door you are outside, whether you own or rent, what has happened, and what the lock looks like.
Before work starts: the labour time we expect, named parts with the lock's make and standard, VAT and an estimated total. If the job changes or will run over, we stop and quote again.
Our locksmith shows ID, and we always ask for proof that you live at the address before a door is opened.
You get an itemised report of the job, and our labour is guaranteed for six months against faulty workmanship.
We take calls from tenants, owners, landlords, managing agents and small businesses locked out of a home or business premises, or with a lock that has failed or been forced.
For a car lockout, our auto locksmith service has its own page; this page covers homes and business premises.
Fitting a smart lock is planned work, not an emergency: our smart lock page covers it.
For a door that opens within the hour, yes: at All Services 4U that job costs £70.80 on a weekday daytime and £82.80 in the evening, at night or at the weekend, with no call-out charge.

All Services 4U charges £59 an hour, Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm, and £69 an hour at all other times, plus VAT (£70.80 and £82.80 with VAT). One hour is the minimum, then time runs in 15-minute steps. There is no call-out charge, and travel, parking, fuel and congestion are never added.
A weekday daytime door that opens within the hour and needs no parts costs £59 plus VAT, £70.80 in total. £200 buys almost two and a half hours of out-of-hours labour with VAT before any parts, so a bill that size should come with a new lock or a long job written on the quote.
That written quote reaches you before work starts: the labour time we expect, any lock by make and standard, VAT and an estimated total. If the job grows, we stop and quote again. You pay the engineer against the invoice, in cash or by credit card.
We charge labour by the hour, with a one-hour minimum and 15-minute steps after that. Choose when you need the locksmith and how long the job takes; your locksmith tells you the expected time before starting.
Labour £59.00 + VAT £11.80 = £70.80
Labour only. Parts, such as a replacement cylinder, and any door or frame repair are quoted separately, in writing, before work starts. No call-out charge.
| Item | Price | How it is charged |
|---|---|---|
| Opening a locked door | Our hourly rate | If the door cannot be opened without damage, you may also need to pay for a replacement lock or a door repair |
| Labour, weekdays 7am to 6pm | £59 an hour (£70.80 with VAT) | Opening a door or changing a lock |
| Labour, evenings, nights and weekends | £69 an hour (£82.80 with VAT) | Monday to Friday 6pm to 12am, every day 12am to 7am, and all day Saturday and Sunday. Opening a door or changing a lock |
| Minimum charge | One hour of labour | Any further time is billed in 15-minute increments |
| Call-out | No call-out charges | Free quotes |
| Travelling, parking, fuel or congestion | No charge | We do not charge for parking, travelling, fuel or congestion |
| Parts: the named lock or cylinder | Quoted separately | The make, and the standard it meets, written on the quote |
| Anything beyond opening the door | Its own price | Marked as an extra |
| VAT | Subject to VAT | Shown on the written quote, before we start work |
| Payment | Cash or credit card | Paid to the engineer, on the invoice |
Four things decide the size of the bill: when you call, the lock and door you have, any damage, and the parts.
When one figure hides all four, there is no way to see what each part of the bill is for. Ask for the estimated total, and ask whether the locksmith will stop and check with you before going past it.
A cheap headline price tells you little until the estimated total is in writing. Put five questions to any locksmith before they set off:
Ask us them too. Our head office is at 37A Church Hill Road, East Barnet, EN4 8SY, our locksmiths are based and work locally, and our company number is 07565878.
Hillingdon Trading Standards
Rogue traders are a stated priority. Hillingdon Trading Standards enforces the law on "scams and doorstep crime", and one of its current priorities is to "protect vulnerable residents from rogue traders".
Hillingdon Council sends trader complaints to the Citizens Advice consumer helpline first: freephone 0808 223 1133, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The council takes the details from there if it decides to investigate.
Tell All Services 4U the address and which door. The quote comes in writing, by text or email, before any work starts.
Ring the council first. Hillingdon Council treats a tenant locked out of a council home as an emergency repair, around the clock, and nearly a third of households around Falling Lane in Yiewsley rent from a council or housing association.
Hillingdon Council emergency repairs: ring 01895 556600 at any hour and say "emergency" at the options menu. The council asks tenants not to report an emergency online or by email. Its Reactive Repairs Service and Contractor Standard (January 2026) lists "where you are locked out or locked in" among its emergency repairs, and promises to "Attend within 24 hours, with same-day attendance for emergency situations".
If a housing association is your landlord, its own repairs line comes first.
The council's repair responsibilities table splits it. Under external doors, "Person locked in/out" is marked as the council's job, "Locks and latches" too, but "Lost and additional keys and fobs" is the tenant's.
Damage is separate: where a tenant, their household or visitors cause damage that the council then repairs, the tenant "may be liable to pay the costs of these works, plus an administration fee and VAT". The table does not put a price on a lockout visit, so ask when you ring.
Through the council's online form: "Use this online form to submit a request for replacement keys and/or fobs." In a block, the council's table puts the door entry phone on the council and the communal entrance fob on you.
You can, but the council's table lists "Locks and latches" as the council's job, so speak to the council before anyone replaces a lock. The itemised report we leave records what was done, for you to pass to the council.
Call the police first and get a crime reference number. Hillingdon's repair responsibilities statement says the council does repairs that are normally the tenant's when the damage comes from "an act of crime and you provide a police CAD or Crime Reference Number".

Our guarantee covers labour for faulty workmanship for six months from the date of completion.
The full terms are on our locksmith guarantee page.
Parts we fit carry the manufacturer's warranty.
If you are the tenant and live there, we open the door once you show you live at the address; a new lock is something to agree with your landlord or agent. Private renting is common here: 43.0% of households around Harmondsworth, Sipson and Longford, and 34.3% around Yiewsley High Street.
We do not ask for it to open the door: we ask for proof that you live at the address. A new lock is different, so agree it with your landlord or agent first and check what your tenancy agreement says about locks and keys.
If you are a lodger, or your tenancy has ended, your position may differ; Citizens Advice or Shelter's housing advice helpline can tell you where you stand.
When you ring, have the full address, the flat number if there is one, and your landlord's or agent's name. The itemised report we leave is yours to pass on.
The property, the reason (keys lost, a tenant gone, a forced door) and who can agree the price. Each lock and option is priced on the written quote, and the itemised report goes in your file. Hillingdon's additional licensing for shared houses with "3 or more people forming 2 or more households" "applies borough wide for five years", so if your house is licensed, keep the report with the licence paperwork. Lock changes after a bailiff eviction are on our eviction locksmith page.
It can be illegal. On gov.uk's list of signs that your landlord may be guilty of illegal eviction: you "find the locks have been changed", or you are put out without a court order. It also lists "withholding keys, for example there are 2 tenants in a property, but the landlord will only give 1 key" as harassment, which matters in a shared house.
Councils can prosecute, and gov.uk puts the fine at "up to £40,000". In West Drayton the council to talk to is Hillingdon. Where threats or violence are involved, gov.uk says to contact the police, who "can prevent you from being illegally evicted from your home". Citizens Advice and Shelter's housing advice helpline can also tell you where you stand; take that advice before anything is done to the door.
Ring with the address and your landlord's or agent's name. We open the door once you show you live there; a new lock is for you and your landlord to agree.
Around Yiewsley High Street 54.2% of households live in flats, the only part of UB7 where flats are the majority. There the block door and the hallway belong to the building, and only your own front door is yours or your landlord's to decide on.
Run by the block's manager, who agrees any change to its doors.
Opened once you show you live there; a fire door needs the agent's say before any change (fire doors).
No shared door to get past: owners decide, renters agree a new lock with the landlord (renting).
Whoever manages the building: a managing agent, the freeholder or a residents' management company. The block door and its entry system serve every flat, so they are opened or changed only with the manager's agreement; have their name ready when you ring. In a Hillingdon Council block, the council looks after the door entry phone and the tenant looks after their own communal fob.
It changes who you ask before anything is drilled or fitted: the managing agent. A flat entrance door is one of the fire doors the building's responsible person must keep "capable of providing adequate protection", in gov.uk's words, and its checks look at whether "the door closer shuts the door" and whether "seals and hinges are fitted" properly. Our fire door repair page covers that work.
In blocks above 11 metres, gov.uk says the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 require "best endeavour annual checks of flat entrance doors and quarterly checks of communal doors".
Below 11 metres there is no set interval, but the responsible person must still make sure "all fire doors – including flat entrance doors – are capable of providing adequate protection".

Most UB7 homes are houses: about 38% of households across the five neighbourhoods here live in flats. Few homes here are old: where energy certificates give a building's age, fewer than one in five dates from before 1930.
So a locked-out caller in West Drayton is more often outside a house's own front door, and who owns that house, the occupier, a private landlord or the council, decides the next step.
Yiewsley High Street is the one flat-majority neighbourhood (flats and block doors) and has the most pre-1930 homes of the three with enough certificates. Falling Lane has the fewest flats and the most social renting (council tenants). West Drayton Green and Church Road sits near the middle on every measure. Porters Way has the most terraced houses, 26.4% of households. Harmondsworth, Sipson and Longford, the villages by Heathrow, have the most private renting (renting privately).
| Neighbourhood | Households in flats | Renting privately | Social rented | Homes built before 1930 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yiewsley High Street | 54.2% | 34.3% | 21.4% | 17.9% |
| Falling Lane, Yiewsley | 22.3% | 21.3% | 31.0% | Too few certificates |
| West Drayton Green and Church Road | 38.8% | 25.6% | 24.8% | Too few certificates |
| Porters Way, West Drayton | 34.1% | 27.2% | 26.6% | 4.4% |
| Harmondsworth, Sipson and Longford | 30.6% | 43.0% | 13.7% | 9.8% |
Figures are Census 2021 households for the neighbourhood (MSOA) that holds a representative postcode for each place; Harmondsworth, Sipson and Longford share one. The names follow nearby streets and villages, not official boundaries. Building age comes from energy performance certificates, which only some homes have; two neighbourhoods have too few to use.
We send locksmiths across West Drayton, Yiewsley, Harmondsworth, Sipson and Longford, all in the UB7 postcode district and the London Borough of Hillingdon, day and night. We also have locksmith pages for the wider borough and for Southall, Hounslow, Ealing and Slough. The nearest locksmith jobs we have written up are about 11 and 12 miles away: an emergency lockout at a flat in Edgware and a communal door lock replacement in Earl's Court.
It depends on the lock. Secured by Design, which runs an accreditation scheme "on behalf of the UK police", calls BS 3621 "The minimum standard for locks on external or entrance doors"; for the replaceable cylinder in a door, the standard it lists is DHF TS 007. Every All Services 4U quote names the make and standard of the lock or cylinder we fit.
Lock assemblies worked by a key from both the inside and outside of the door. Secured by Design adds that "The effectiveness of the lock also depends on the quality of the door, frame and other hardware".
For replacement cylinders, "including euro profile, oval and threaded cylinders", and the hardware that protects them, in the "retrofit market": the swap-in part for an existing door.
Security performance for complete doorsets and windows, tested as a whole rather than a lock on its own.
Swapping a cylinder yourself can be done, but the new one has to fit the door and meet the standard you want, and in a rented home the landlord agrees first. If you would rather we did it, the written quote names the cylinder, its make and its standard before we start. Hillingdon Council tenants request replacement keys and fobs through the council's online form instead.
Check with Hillingdon first if you mean the whole door. Both are conservation areas, and the council says that there "planning permission is likely to be required to alter, extend and/or demolish buildings". A new lock in the existing door is a smaller job; our lock upgrades page covers the options.
We fit locks and cylinders from Yale, Chubb, ERA, Union, Mul-T-Lock, Banham, Brisant Secure, ABUS and Legge.

All Services 4U is a locksmith and property maintenance company. We handle eight kinds of locksmith job. Opening a door and changing a lock are charged at our published hourly rate; other work, and any parts, are quoted before they start.
We answer calls at any hour and open locked doors on homes and businesses. Non-destructive entry, which leaves the lock in place where it can be done, is one of our services.
We change locks after a move, a lost key or a tenant leaving, and write the make and standard of the new lock on the quote.
When every key is lost, we can open the door and, if you choose, change the lock so the lost keys no longer work; each is quoted first.
We remove a key snapped in the lock and quote any repair to the lock before starting it.
We repair failed locks and UPVC multi-point mechanisms, and repair UPVC and timber doors when the lock is not the only damage.
After a break-in we quote the work the door needs: a replacement lock, a temporary repair or boarding up. Report the crime to the police first.
We change locks for landlords and agents, including after a bailiff-led eviction, and leave an itemised report for the property file.
We handle office and shop lockouts, restricted master key systems, panic bars and access control for businesses.
At All Services 4U, we hold ISO 9001:2015 (certificate GB-Q265-1), ISO 14001:2015 (EM-1102) and ISO 45001:2018 (HS-1102) certificates and SafeContractor approval (SY1948). We also hold Once For All Health & Safety and Constructionline Gold, and we are NICEIC approved for our electrical work. Ask us for a copy of any certificate and we send it.
Locksmiths are not regulated by the Government in the UK, and All Services 4U is not a member of the Master Locksmiths Association (MLA). The MLA, the trade's voluntary body, says "the locksmithing industry is not regulated in any way by the Government in the United Kingdom".
What you can check about All Services 4U instead: our company number at Companies House (07565878), our ISO 9001 and SafeContractor certificates with their issuers, and our published hourly rates. Our insurance confirmation is sent on request, and you can ask on the call which DBS check the person attending holds.
